WRITER/DIRECTOR Albert Art

Fresh off the production of his first short film Lazy Susan, a visual effects filled fantasy tale, Albert decided that his next project would be a smaller scale film, something as far away from a green screen studio as possible, without the need for a lengthy post production or a team of computer graphics artists to realize his vision.

Taking advantage of the Torrance, California location during his Holiday visit to Los Angeles, Albert designed CREEP around local actors, and the small town feel of Old Torrance.

Albert has worked in the videogame and animation industry as an animator. He is currently focusing on the production of vinyl art toys, freelance animation, and filmmaking.

Barry Alexander grew up in Southern California and has been performing since he was 7 years old. He graduated from CalState Fullerton with a Bachelor's in Theatre, emphasis in Acting. Recently he has moved back to Los Angeles to focus on his acting endeavors. Mr. Alexander would also like it to be public knowledge that he is not a creep in real life... unless, of course, you refuse to share your chocolate dipped ice cream cone with him...

Kelsie Fiege has performed in numerous musical theatre productions over the course of her early career. She enjoys theatre but is looking to take on more film projects. “Creep” is her first role in film and she is excited to take part in more films in the New Year. Beyond acting, Kelsie is an amateur astronomer, temperamental driver, and mediocre guitar player. Enjoy the film!

STORY  -

A strange, socially awkward man attempts to reach out to people of the neighborhood, but he soon realizes that winning them over with his charming personality, isn't as easy has he thought it would be. With thick rimmed glasses he goes about town, trying to reintegrate back into society, yet the locals are not willing to accept his odd behaviour.

ABOUT -

Filmed within a single day (6hrs) during a busy holiday weekend (Dec.27 2009), and shot on location in the historic neighborhood of Old Torrance, CA, 'CREEP' is an experimental exercise in no budget independent filmmaking. Produced with limited resources, a small crew, script, and local cast, the production demonstrates a flexible approach to filmmaking. Adlibbing, and spontaneity became useful tools on the shoot, ideal for direct to web content.
